First I want to wish a happy New Year to all of you, and once again thank you for so many amazing shows and memories in the past year, we hope to make this one even more exciting and have big plans for the coming year including recording our next full length album.
We have a nice run of new shows listed now, the culmination of which being a show at Common Grounds on March 6th with "Southern Culture on the Skids". You may remember them from their 'walk like a camel' video. This is probably one of the bigger shows we've been able to be a part of and we hope you'll come out to support us and show 'em how we roll!
If you do plan to come to this show, please buy presale tickets from us, they're gonna be $12 in advance, and $14 at the door, but if you buy from us you'll be supporting the band - just send us an email through the contact page or through our myspace page and we'll make it happen. If you don't have $12 and want to see the show we'll work something out. Thanks so much for all your support over the years and we hope in the coming year, see ya at the shows!
more newsFinally recovered and able to recollect on all the wonderful shows we did this summer. We accomplished so many things; played our first show out of state in Mobile, played a music festival, and ventured to areas of FL that we've never been before. We've had such a great time all summer long and I can only hope things continue to progress as well as they have in the past few months.
I just wanted to thank everyone who helped us set up shows this summer, and all the courteous people we've met along the way. To every person that danced to our songs and the beautiful, crazy, and receptive crowds we've played for, I thank you all. So many people approach us to offer encouragement, and even tell us that someday we could "make it". After a set of shows like the ones we've done this summer, I can't help but feel that we already have.
more newsI just put up some dates for shows this summer. It's looking like a pretty good summer run, we're trying to break out around the state a little more, and hopefully make some new friends along the way. You can check it out in the 'shows' section.
We've got a lot of new songs that we're working on, and I've been finishing up writing a lot of stuff that I seem to have been working on for some time now. I can't wait to get some of the new ones finished and playing some of our new stuff out at shows, so we hope you can catch us sometime this summer, see ya at the shows!
more newsIt's been a long year to say the very least, but it's hard to believe that only that much time has passed since we added the full band to the music. I've known Jesse B (bass) and Mr. Chris (drums) for years, though we all grew up in different places and moved away from each other it's almost strange how we all ended up in the same place and starting playing together some time last year. We then spent the rest of the year playing shows here in Gainesville and around Florida which helped hone our songs a bit and get some exposure and at times to humble us which I think is important for any band. By December things were sounding pretty good and we finally scraped some money together and decided to record.
